Producer Suresh Doodala is remaking D-Day in Telugu

Hyderabad: Shruti Haasan’s D-Day is getting a Tollywood treatment soon.
The world of drugs and mafia serves as the backdrop of the film and Shruti’s bold portrayal of a call girl in Bollywood version, directed by Nikhil Advani, was widely appreciated.
As Shruti’s latest Telugu film Race Gurram was a blockbuster, producer Suresh Doodala plans to use the name Gelugu Gurram for the remake. Doodala is confident the film will do well in Telugu.
“Everybody knows Shruti Haasan gave a bold performance in this film. I am sure Telugu audience too will love the film,” he said.
