Hyderabad: After the runaway success of Legend, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s new film was launched on Monday at a private studio in the city.
Satya Deva is making his debut as director with the film, which is being produced by Rudrapati Ramana Rao. The film was supposed to be launched on the actor’s birthday (June 10), but with the swearing-in ceremony on June 8 and the actor scheduled to visit his constituency after that, the muhurat was brought forward. “I had written the story three years back keeping Balakrishna in mind; and I waited for the actor to give his nod. I hadn’t narrated the story to anyone else as I wanted to make this film only with Balakrishna,” says director Satya Deva, adding that Balakrishna will be seen in a different character in this entertainer, which has Trisha as the female lead.
