Sonakshi Sinha gets a surprise visit from Shahid Kapoor on her birthday

Mumbai: Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha celebrated her 27th birthday yesterday. And while she decided to keep her birthday celebrations low-key at a local eatery with a few friends from the industry the star was visited by a surprise guest at the end of the party. Rumour has it that Sonakshi Sinha was picked up by actor Shaid Kapoor after her birthday celebrations and the rumoured couple set off on a long drive, according to a recent report in Mumbai Mirror.

A friend of the actress was quoted saying, “Shahid was running late and couldn't meet her while she partied in Bandra with her other friends. However, once the do was wrapped up, Shahid arrived and the two spent quite a substantial amount of time together.”

Sonakshi and Shahid starred opposite each other in ‘R..Rajkumar’, which fuelled rumours of the two stars being in a relationship, the actors have neither confirmed nor denied the news.

The friend also added that Shahid is very fond of Sonakshi and since she has been busy with ongoing film promotions she hasn’t time to meet him. Shahid was very delighted to meet her on the eve of her birthday.
