Shah Rukh Khan hikes fee after learning Salman was approached first

Mumbai: Bollywood’s King Khan has upped his price. After learning that Salman Khan was approached to endorse a Pan masala brand the star asked the brand to up his remuneration than what was earlier offered, as reported by Absolute India.

“SRK was okay with the idea that they pitched to him and after thorough consideration made the decision to proceed with the deal. But since Salman was earlier considered for the endorsement, SRK had asked them to up his remuneration than what was earlier offered,” a source was quoted saying.

Shah Rukh, recently made it to number two on the list of Hollywood and Bollywood’s richest actors beating established Hollywood stars like Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp, Shah Rukh is worth an estimated $600 million. According to the report the endorsement deal made comes at a whopping Rs 20 crore.

The source also added, “They are very happy with their choice and also the fact that Shah Rukh considered them and are now eager to shoot the advertisement and air it as quickly as possible.”
