Mumbai: The trend of Bollywood actors pursuing their passion for singing is catching up. After Priyanka Chopra, Shruti Haasan and Alia Bhatt, it is Ileana D’cruz who is considering undergoing formal training in signing.
“Ileana is giving it a serious thought. She has always been musically inclined,” says a friend of the actress. Like Alia, Ileana too wants to be mentored by music maestro A.R. Rahman. “Ileana loved the way Alia sang in Highway. Singing for Rahman will be a dream come true for her,” our source added.
Meanwhile, there have been reports about Ileana shifting base to Mumbai. “There are no concrete plans yet. Since there is a lot of work being offered to her in Hindi films there is a possibility of renting a flat in Mumbai. For now, that’s it,” our source says.
