Non-subsidised LPG price cut by Rupees 23.50
Declining oil prices, strengthening of rupee against US dollar made imports cheaper
New Delhi: With rupee appreciating and lowering the cost of import, oil marketing companies (OMC) on Monday decided to cut rates of non subsidised cooking gas by Rs 23.50 per cylinder.
This is the fifth straight reduction in the price since February. Customers will non-subsidised LPG price after using up their quota of 12 subsidised cylinders.
Each non-subsidised 14.2-kg cooking gas cylinder will now cost Rs 905, down from Rs 928.50, in Delhi.
Declining international oil prices and the strengthening of the rupee against the US dollar have made imports cheaper.
