K Chandrasekhar Rao to go for 9 man team in first cabinet of Telangana
Hyderabad: TRS president and Telangana Chief Minister-designate K. Chandrasekhar Rao, according to sources, will be going for a nine-member Cabinet team initially for the swearing-in of Monday’s Cabinet.
While Mr Rao will be sworn in as Chief Minister, his team includes Mohammed Ali (Hyderabad, deputy CM), Koppula Eswar (Karimnagar, deputy CM), Nayani Narasimha Reddy (Hyderabad), Etela Rajender (Karimnagar, minister), T. Harish Rao (Medak, minister), T. Padma Rao (Hyderabad, minister), Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy (Nizamabad, minister) and Jogu Ramanna (Adilabad).
However, Mr Rao will be expanding his Cabinet in the second week of June. He has kept his son K.T. Rama Rao out of the first team.
Some of the names likely to be included in the Cabinet expansion include: Jagadeswara Reddy (Nalgonda, minister), A. Chandulal (Warangal, minister) and Dr T. Rajaiah (Warangal, minister).
