In Uttar Pradesh, at least 14 people were killed due to thunderstorm

New Delhi: At least 40 people were killed in the north and eastern part of the country due to massive storm and lightning, while accompanying rains brought down mercury in most parts reeling under heat wave.
A massive thunder storm hit the national capital and several other states on Friday evening and Saturday morning.
At least nine people were killed in Delhi and the NCR region. In UP, at least 14 people were killed due to thunderstorm.
