London: An underwater hotel has been created 21ft below the water surface, requiring people to dive deep down to reach their room.
As guests descend to Jules' Undersea Lodge in Key Largo, Florida, they can see a whole host of marine life as well as the untouched tropical mangrove of the Emerald Lagoon, the Daily Star reported.
The cottage-sized building can sleep just four people but has hot showers, a well-stocked kitchen with fridge and microwave, as well as a range of movies and music for people to relax with the fishes. It even has wi-fi.
Inside the lodges there are two bedrooms, a moon pool and kitchen/bathroom facilities.
The average price is around 300 pounds per night with prices rising above 1,000 pounds to include scuba diving lessons.
Ian Koblick, co-developer and owner of the lodge, said that the flow of air to the Lodge constantly adds oxygen to the entire surrounding body of water, creating a symbiotic relationship between the technology of man and the beauty of nature.
