Royal Historical Society of London elected Captain L Pandu Ranga Reddy as member

Hyderabad: The Royal Historical Society of London elected Captain L. Pandu Ranga Reddy as a member of the Society, making him the first historian ever to be elected to the Society from Andhra Pradesh. Currently, Captain Reddy is writing a book about Hyderabad Police Action and the Pandit Sunderlal Report.

Captain Reddy, a veteran of the 1965 Indo-Pak war, has an MA with a gold medal from Osmania University, and M.Phil first-class-first from the Annamalai University for his dissertation titled The Case of Hyderabad in the Security Council. His writings and research work were of great use to those who demanded separate statehood for Telangana. While discussing the Telangana State Bill in the AP Assembly in 2014, many MLAs cited his research material.
