Bengaluru: Actor Murali finally has a reason to smile. The big chain of failures of Murali's career as a hero has at last ended. 'Ugram' has completed a successful 100 days.

Though Murali tasted a huge success with 'Chandra Chakori' and 'Kanti', his next films were failures and Murali had to see 14 of his films failing badly at the box-office continuously. Murali was desperately in need of a big hit and was waiting for such a film which would give him success. But none of the films that were launched recently in recent years like 'Murari' and 'Parabramha' failed to continue due to various reasons.

Even 'Ugram' was delayed and the film was in making for almost three years. 'Ugram' was a do or die film for Murali and the film got a huge opening hereby bringing the first success for Murali. The second success was however, the film collecting 5.5 crores in the first week which included a producer's share of 2.75 crores.

Now the film has completed 100 days, hereby giving a success to Murali's career at last.
