Hollywood star Brad Pitt got into a scuffle with infamous prankster Vitalii Sediuk on the red carpet premiere of Angelina Jolie’s film Maleficent.
Pitt, who was signing autographs at the time, was struck in the face by Sediuk, who had jumped over metal barriers to get close to the 50-year-old actor at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, reported TMZ online.
Sediuk was immediately detained by security and wrestled to the floor before being handcuffed and placed under arrest. While Pitt was surprised and shocked by the events, it does not appear that he was injured during the incident.
Sediuk, a reporter for a Ukrainian television network, has recently become infamous for his red carpet antics. Earlier this month, he was detained at the Cannes Film Festival for sticking his head up actress America Ferrera’s dress.
