Nearly 1.5 lakh teachers, has decided to donate their one-day salary for the development of Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana government teachers have offered to donate their one-day salary, amounting to nearly Rs 22 crore, for the reconstruction of Telangana state. Telangana Teachers’ JAC, comprising nearly 1.5 lakh teachers, has decided to donate the amount to Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
They said the JAC will actively take part in the reconstruction and development of the newly-formed Telangana state. Telangana Teachers’ JAC leader P. Ravinder Reddy said they took active part in the agitations and now that the Telangana state is formed, it was their responsibility to work for the development of the new state.
