Director said that all is well between him and Imran Khan
Mumbai: A while ago there were rumours about not all being well between Karan Johar and Imran Khan. But at a recent media event, the filmmaker cleared the air. He said, “Imran Khan and I are close professional associates and friends. I love Avantika from my heart. There was some reportage about there being some problem between us and that made no sense.”
The rumours were fueled by Karan’s absence at Avantika’s baby shower. Karan said, “I wasn’t there because the function is for women. Knowing Imran, I can say he would have never spoken about me not wishing him on his birthday on Twitter. The report was ridiculous and I can’t believe such things make news. I definitely want to work with him in the future. I hope this ends all speculation.”
