Mumbai: Akshay Kumar is clearly very impressed with his Holiday co-star Sonakshi Sinha. The actor has been going around town talking about Sona’s acting skills. Akshay has gone on record saying that Sonakshi is one of the finest actresses of her generation. “Which other 27-year-old actress could’ve pulled off a sensitive role like that in Lootera? I think she truly deserved to win the National Award for that superlative performance,” he says.
In the past Akshay has been heard singing praises of his former co-star Katrina Kaif too. He used to even consider her his lucky mascot. “I’ve always said that my female co-stars be it Katrina or Sonakshi — have always played a big role in the success of our films. I acknowledge their contribution. But I’d never compare Sonakshi to Katrina or vice versa,” says the actor.
Akshay also denies playing favourites even though he has worked with both Sona and Kat more than once. “Actors choose their films according to the script and the availability of their dates. I’ve done many films with Kareena Kapoor too. Back then, our schedules worked and we ended up working in multiple films. I’ll definitely work with Katrina and Kareena when we have a good script.”
