New Delhi: Domestic handset player Lava has launched a smartphone, under Iris X series, with the latest Android KitKat operating system for Rs 7,999. The 4.5 inch phone comes with 8 mega pixel camera, 4 GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 32 GB via micro-SD card, dual SIM with 3G connectivity and 1800 mAh battery.
Its KitKat platform offers faster multi-tasking through optimised memory and improved touch responsiveness. It also comes with a bunch of new features like its phone application automatically prioritises contacts based on the people a user talks to the most and its caller ID looks for matches from businesses with local listing on Google Maps.

The phone will be available online exclusively on Amazon.in from May 27 and also across national retail chain stores and multi-brand outlets pan India.
