Security around venue to be monitored through helicopters, Delhi state boundaries sealed

New Delhi: A multi-layered security blanket has been thrown all over the national capital, which will virtually be turned into a fortress ahead of Mr Modi’s oath taking ceremony on Monday. The scale of security has been made be at par with arrangements for the Republic Day parade.
Intelligence sources said that security around the venue would also be monitored through the helicopters. Borders with the neighbouring states have been sealed. An estimated 10,000 security personnel from the Delhi police, paramilitary forces as well as the SPG and the NSG will be deployed in and around the Presidential place.
