Maanikya become the first Kannada film to release in Oman

Bengaluru: Kannada cinema is surely going places, credit goes to Sudeep's latest movie Maanikya.

Maanikya will become the first Kannada film to release in Oman. It will be screened in the capital city of Muscat on May 30.

 

The film starring Sudeep and Ravichandran among others will be screened at the Stars Cinema - Ruwi CBD on the evening of May 30. The tickets for the show went on sales from May 24.

Maanikya which completed 25 days of screening across Karnataka has broken several box office records. It has collected a record breaking in the first four days after being released in a record 265 theatres. At the end of three weeks it has collected the highest amount ever for a Kannada film.

The film had also garnered a record amount from satellite, dubbing and other rights.
