The beautiful actress turned nimbu-mirchi seller for the show Mission Sapne

The well known TV actress, Drashti Dhami, has turned into a nimbu-mirchi seller, but only for the show Mission Sapne.

When Drashti found out that the nimbu-mirchi seller with whom she had swapped her life for a day on Mission Sapne made only Rs 8 per unit of nimbu-mirchi sold, she knew that earning money for the visually challenged nimbu mirchi seller would be a tough task. Then the Madhubala actress went in for the challenge.

Among many other events, our source says that when she met a mother and daughter on the road, she realised that it would be difficult to sell nimbu-mirchi to them. At this point, Drashti used the lucky charm as a fashion accessory — hanging the nimbu-mirchi on the little girl’s earring.

Meanwhile, when she spotted a BMW, she convinced the owner to buy nimbumirchi for Rs 100.

An excited Drashti said, “The concept of Mission Sapne excited me. Everybody does charity but you never know if the money reaches the people in need. But I know this will.”
