Samantha reigns in Tollywood

Hyderabad: After a troubled early 2013, Samantha’s films now are doing well and the star’s success rate is now at an all-time high. With much of competition gone, she is also easily, the reigning top actress in Tollywood.

Samantha debuted in 2010 with Yeh Maya Chesave, and her acting was highly appreciated and since then, the actress has, with every film, slowly carved her niche in Tollywood.

The best part is, Samantha has been part of a big blockbuster every year, from Dookudu with Mahesh Babu, Eega with Nani to last year’s hit Atharintiki Daredi with Pawan Kalyan.

Apart from these top-billed projects from the Telugu film industry, she has acted in other successful films like Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Brindavanam.

Though the film Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu was not a commercial success, Samantha won awards for her role in the film.

This is the same actress whose health issues, for a few months, had almost grounded her film career.

Now, with Manam, that hit-a-year plan continues.

About the success of Manam the actress tweeted, “What do I do after my film becomes a hit?... I go home eat the best dinner (mostly curd rice) and think about how to keep the hits coming.”

Samantha also has three Telugu films and three Tamil films in hand.
