Chennai: Mollywood girl Swasika who is on and off in Tamil films returns with a movie titled Panduvam (surgery). The movie directed by debutant Keettan who comes from the filmy family.
While his uncle is popular yesteryear actor Vaagai Chandrashekar, Keettan’s dad Pandian is a well known designer who has worked in 900 movies.
It’s a movie which has a backdrop of medicine and a campus story. Sithesh plays the lead protagonist and Swasika is his pair. Looks like the actress who is known for her alluring performance is choosy about her scripts!
Panduvam is no different. It is learnt that Swasika has a meaty role and a lot of scope to perform and hence she gave her nod to Panduvam.
“Since the movie deals with medicine and surgery, I did quite a bit of research while at script stage. I have attempted a new approach to the narration which has twists and turns,” says Keettan who was a former assistant to ace Ramanarayanan.
