Germany's Allianz Arena will be the world’s biggest LED display
Mumbai: Germany's Allianz Arena has been made up of colour-changing plastic panels, which is around 29,000 square meters. But at present, it only displays the red shade of Bayern Munich, the blue of TSV 1860 and white.
As per the official reports, Philips is reportedly planning the process of coating the stadium in 380,000 LEDs that can display 16 million colours. The innovative lighting solution from Philips is completely digitised and intelligently linked. Each individual light point can be controlled selectively and in real time.
This development will help its venue to play dynamic light shows and animations. This initiative can also be considered as one of the marketing strategies to keep its fans entertained, while watching the Bundesliga. First design studies have already developed, which will further be subject to regulatory approvals.
