Mumbai: Actors and their high-handed attitude has always been the talk of the town. Recently, Akshay Kumar, who had committed to walking the red carpet and performing for an event, failed to live up to his words.
The organisers of the show had publicised the event banking on Akshay. The actor was the only big star present at the event, hence the crowd had gathered and waited for him to walk the red carpet.
As committed, Akshay showed up for the event but refused to walk the red carpet and interact with the media.
“His entry was changed at the last minute. Akshay’s live performance that was supposed to be the USP of the show was restricted to just a few members of the media. He left soon after his act was over,” says a member of the management.
Akshay’s blink-and-miss act turned out to be a big disappointment for his fans who waited for hours to catch a glimpse of him. Not quite a khiladi this time?
