Hyderabad: According to sources, Trisha has demanded a whooping Rs 1.25 crore for Balakrishna’s next film. The film is all set to be launched on June 10, on his birthday.
Shriya and Trisha are the frontrunners for the female lead in the film. According to a close source of the unit, when they approached Trisha, the actress demanded Rs 1.25 crore as remuneration. The makers are in a dilemma whether to accept her demand or choose a different actress.
They approached Anjali and Radhika Apte (who acted with Balakrishna in Legend) but neither of them showed any interest in the project. Nayanthara too is busy with other projects and our sources say that Shriya is not interested either.
Now, the makers of this movie will have to either use a fresh face or give in to Trisha’s demands.
