Vodafone bets big on Narendra Modi
New Delhi: India’s second largest telecom operator Vodafone India expects better administration and more transparency in business under Narendra Modi-led NDA government.

He said that the company has witnessed the good governance in Gujarat, where it is a market leader and hopes that from now onwards, it will be an upward trend for the company.
“With the experience of the leader of the government in Gujarat, where we are market leaders as a operator, we have seen what it means to get good governance, what it means to have better administration and more transparency, etc, so we are very hopeful that from hereon we can go upwards again,” Mr Pieters said.
The Vodafone India head said that the hope is high now with the new government coming with a strong mandate and he is sure that the new government will quickly start to address some of the blocking factors for stronger economic growth.
