Soundarya seeks divine intervention
Soundarya Rajinikanth visited the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati
Chennai: Even as the much-delayed Rajini-starrer Kochadaiiyaan gets ready to release this Friday, the magnum opus’ director Soundarya Rajinikanth visited the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati to seek some divine intervention for the success of her film.
She tweeted, (sic) “Leaving Tirupati after the most divine darshan ..!!! Venkateshwara ... bless us and India’s first performance capture film.”
Kochadaiiyaan, being India’s first performance capture film, had received several negative comments for not looking realistic enough, to which the director had replied stating that it was ‘not a cartoon’.
The film further came under fire for not releasing on the original May 9 release date at the last minute.
