A recent magazine commercial showed women in a beauty parlour — captured by hidden cameras — gossipping about their liking for men who clean up well. The women talk about how it was a turn off to see boys sporting hairy chests, beards and moustaches to look manly.
So if you want to be a hit with the ladies, you have to start being more narcissistic. Here are a few ways to be the metrosexual man.
- If you’re spending less than 20 minutes in front of the mirror every morning, you are going to have to buck up. Spend at least half an hour everyday to keep yourself in shape. Tyres impress no one.
- If you are borrowing your girlfriend’s facewash, then wake up! You should be knowing every grooming product out there and owning the best.
- You are going to need a wardrobe makeover if your mother does your shopping for you.
- You should be updated on every seasonal trend. Ignorance isn’t bliss. It is stupidity.
- A metrosexual man should be owning atleast 10 pairs of footwear to go with every dress he owns.
- Macho is for Bollywood heroes. Suit up and play cool.
