Chennai: Arya is one Tamil hero known for his lover boy image — it’s no surprise then that he chose an intense love story in Amara Kaaviyam (starring his brother Sathya), to launch his home production company.
Walking out from a special screening, the actor could actually be spotted with tears in his eyes; such was the film’s impact on him. The dashing star even ordered a 143 cakes to distribute to the film unit!
The reason? “143 is the symbolism of ‘I Love You’,”Arya explains. Director Jeeva Shankar has made a film of international standards, while Sathya and Mia George have amazing chemistry on screen. I have always felt the thrill of being the hero, but this is the first time I’m proud of producing a good film — I hope to continue in the same vein,” he concludes.
