Many politicians are planning to focus on their businesses
Former minister for cooperation Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy
Hyderabad: Former minister Vatti Vasant Kumar has announced his retirement from politics and did not contest the recent elections, and two other former ministers Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy and Gade Venkata Reddy want to follow suit as they too did not stand for election this year.
Many Congress politicians are contractors and some of them joined the TD and YSRC before elections, while others are planning to focus on their businesses. There will be plenty of work for them in the new Andhra Pradesh.
There are some full-time politicians in the party who have no other activity to fall back on. They will probably spend time in party office or focus on strengthening the party in their districts and seats.
