Mumbai: Sajid Nadiadwala seems to be really pumped with the success of 2 States which was based on Chetan Bhagat’s bestseller. Sources from the producer-director’s office say that he has been meeting up with some leading authors. It seems that he is planning to buy the rights to a few books even before they hit the market.

Our source says, “2 States has done extremely well and Phantom starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif is also based on a book, that has been authored by S. Hussain Zaidi, and is yet to be launched. Sajid heard the draft and bought the rights for the film when the book was not even half way through. With the success of 2 States and Phantom shaping up well, Sajid now wants to cash in on more books. He is asking close friends for book recommendations, while also getting in touch with writers who are working on subjects that Sajid finds interesting. He strongly believes that content makes all the difference and is working towards building a strong bank of content across genres.”
