Apple slammed with lawsuit over disappearing iMessage texts
Washington: Apple has been sued with a lawsuit over disappearing iMessage texts that have been kept from arriving on Android owners' handsets after they have removed iOS .
The issue began when former iPhone users who have switched to Google's Android mobile operating system stopped receiving texts without notifying either party.
According to Cnet, the issue appears to be on device level, meaning each and every current iPhone user's device may think a new Android user is still using an Apple handset. Not only is the text then lost forever but Apple has provided no concrete solution to prevent it from happening.
Though Apple has declined to comment on this but the solution to the problem include deactivating iMessage settings before converting over to an Android phone. Other fixes include iPhone users to delete accounts from their address book, re-establishing a regular connection by removing the iMessage permanently between the two phone numbers.
