- Actor-turned-politician Vinod Khanna was leading over Punjab Congress President Partap Singh Bajwa from Gurdaspur Lok Sabha constituency in Punjab. Bajwa was trailing by 9,979 votes.
- Bengali actor, Tapas Pal won in Krishnanagar. He defeated Satyabrata in the same.
- Singer, Babul Supriya, from BJP defeated TMC's Dola Sen.
- Bollywood actor and BJP candidate Shatrughan Sinha won from the Patna Sahib constituency. He defeated Congress candidate Kunal Singh by over one lakh votes.
