Motorola now allows its users to send instant alerts to emergency contacts

Motorola has added a new feature to its smartphones, called Moto Alert which helps you alert the people most important to you in case of an emergency. Moto Alert is a simple app that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. All you need to do is, put your phone on alert mode, and the app, when in an emergency mode, automatically sends frequent alerts to your emergency contacts. Along with the alert, it also sends your GPS location to help your friend or family find your location. It is a great app for those who want to meet up with friends and make finding the location easier.

This feature is available in Moto E or Moto G LTE. However, Moto X and original Moto G users will have to wait until the next update arrives. The Moto Alert app is available on the Google Play Store, but sadly it wont download unless it is compatible with the Motorola Moto handsets.
