WhatsApp has already crossed over 50 million users
Silicon Valley: WhatsApp has now started focusing on increasing its active users base from the current 50 million to one billion in a year, stated a top Indian-American Executive. "This target has been set for insurance purposes" Neeraj Arora, Business Development Head of WhatsApp.
Sharing his experience with this mobile messaging app, Arora said that the rapid growth of users might be because of identified phone numbers. "That was one of the biggest reasons, why it got picked up so fast," stated Arora, adding that the focus of his company is to provide the best user-friendly product to the people.
