Terror attacks may rise in India after new government formation: Intelligence report

Bengaluru: The Intelligence agencies have warned of possible fidayeen attacks in the country soon after the formation of the new government at the Centre.

The leader of the banned terrorist outfit Jamat-ud-Dawa (earlier Lashkar-e-Tayyaba) Hafiz Saeed in Pakistan, who is reportedly the mastermind behind the 26/11 Mumbai carnage in 2008 has been publicly spewing venom against BJP’s PM nominee Narendra Modi and is allegedly behind the resurrection of the banned terror groups, the SIMI, Indian Mujahideen (IM) and the Al Ummah in India.

“Saeed is also said to be behind sending vulnerable youth from India to militant training camps run by the Taliban,” a source said.

According to sources, the ascent of Mr Modi and his two public statements on illegal Muslim Bangladeshi immigrants from India if he comes to power and that he would rather sign up for a covert counter-terrorist operation than make his plans public have sent clear signals to terror operatives that they may face the same fate as Osama Bin Laden if Mr Modi comes to power.
