Mumbai: Contrary to the reports making the rounds, Bang Bang is all set to arrive on schedule. Reliable sources confirmed to us that there was no truth in the rumours that claimed that the Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif starrer was facing a delay.
“October 2 is the release date for Bang Bang,” our source said. “There is absolutely no way that the date will be changed, especially since October 2 is a Thursday and a National holiday. By no means would the makers (Fox) let go off a lucrative four-day weekend.”
The rumours began since the film has been postponed a couple of times. With leading man Hrithik facing personal issues, there was talk that he wasn’t in a frame of mind to face the cameras.
“That’s just hearsay. Hrithik is too professional to let his personal turmoil interfere with his work. He has already experienced a lot of pain — physical as well as mental — for several months now and having just celebrated his 40th birthday, he believes Bang Bang is the right film for him to make his presence felt with,” our source added.
That the film won’t be postponed further is definitely good news for Katrina, who has a substantial role in this remake of Knight and Day. Her next film, Phantom, arrives only in 2015.
