New Moto G will have a microSD card slot and LTE
Mumbai: Motorola is reportedly releasing another version of the Moto G which will be tweaked with new features such as an added microSD card slot for memory expansion and LTE for high-speed internet connectivity.
As reported by Engadget, Motorola had confirmed to them that the Moto G’s tweaked version with the above said features is true.
Motorola had released two versions of the Moto G in India, which had the internal storage limited to 8GB and 16GB. It did not feature any microSD card slot for expanding the memory, however, you could expand the memory temporarily using the OTG feature and a USB pen drive.
Now that Motorola has confirmed the new version of the Moto G to hit the stands soon, we hope that Motorola introduces the same in India too. Additionally, we also expect Motorola to have an exchange offer to trade-in the older handset for the newer tweaked version for an additional price.
However, there is no official confirmation about when the handset will be launched, when it will be launched in India and if it will ever be launched here. Stay tuned.
