Exit polls put TRS in lead in Telangana, 50:50 for Chandrababu Naidu, Jagan in Seemandhra

Hyderabad: Like 2009, when the election projections by reputed national channels and agencies were way off the mark, on Monday too the exit polls for 2014 aired by some of the channels differed from one another.

While the poll results will be announced on May 16, the exit polls of leading channels like CNN-IBN, Headlines Today and Times Now on Monday night gave the TRS the maximum number of Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, while they differed on the number of seats that the Telugu Desam-BJP combine and the YSR Congress were likely to get in Seemandhra.
