YSR Congress against repoll in some booths
YSRC submits a written application against Re-polling decision
Hyderabad: YSRC candidate of Jammalamadugu, Mr Adinarayana Reddy, wrote to the returning officer of Jammalamadugu, not to conduct repolling in a few booths and requested written information of scrutiny of the presiding officer diary, remarks of sectoring officer, micro observer and returning officer on May 7 and 8 during election for the Assembly constituency.
“The Election Commission of India ordered re-polling for 80, 81 and 82 of Devagudi village in the 250 Jammalamadugu Assembly and 38-Kadapa Parliament seat. The re-polling is highly arbitrary and nothing but abusing the process of elections. I submit that there was no untoward incident that took place in the above polling booths, and no complaints were mooted by the polling officer, sector officer, micro observer and polling agents.”
