Hamilton claimed his fourth victory in five races so far this season
Barcelona: Britain's Lewis Hamilton headed a Mercedes one-two at the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday to take the world championship lead for the first time this season.
The former world champion got away smoothly from pole position to dominate all the way ahead of his team-mate Nico Rosberg, with Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo third.
Hamilton claimed his fourth victory in five races so far this season to take the championship lead from Germany's Rosberg with a three-point advantage.
Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel, who had been given a five-place penalty due to a changed gearbox, finished in fourth ahead of Valtteri Bottas for Williams.
Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen, Romain Grosjean, Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg completed the top ten.
