Narendra Modi dares Mamata Banerjee again, says will deport Bangladeshis
Kolkata: Accepting West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s challenge, BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi on Wednesday reiterated his resolve to deport all illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators. “Didi is throwing all kinds of challenges to me. The Supreme Court has declared that infiltration is aggression against India. I will have no hesitation in implementing the order,” he said at a rally in Krishnanagar.
Reacting to Mr Modi’s warning that after May 16, all Bangladeshi immigrants must pack their bags and leave, Ms Banerjee repeatedly dared him to “touch even one of them”.
In the past fortnight, Ms Banerjee intensified her attacks on the BJP and its prime ministerial candidate as he addressed eight rallies in the state, including Wednesday’s rallies at Krishnanagar, Barasat and Kolkata, that drew huge turnouts.
