Muzaffarnagar: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by four persons, including two policemen, in Kotwali rural area in adjoining Saharanpur district. The girl was abducted by the four from Gangoh area yesterday and was taken to a nearby jungle where she was gangraped by the four.
DIG, Saharanpur range, Raghuvir Lal told reporters today that two police constables Shubhash and Vivaik and the third accused Zishan have been arrested while the fourth accused Nadeem is absconding. Proceedings have been initiated to dismiss the two accused policemen
In another incident, a 16-year-old girl was gangraped by two youths at pistol point at Tateda village in the district on Wednesday evening. Police said a case has been registered against the two youths, Alinawaz and Khushnaseeb. According to the FIR lodged in Kakroli Police Station, the accused entered the victim's house when she was alone and raped her. A hunt has been launched for the accused.
