Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit: a specifications review

The Samsung Galaxy Fit basically a smart watch which can tell you more than just the time. It features a 1.84-inch curved AMOLED touch display with a resolution of 432x128 pixels. The watch is IP67 certified and is dust and water resistant. Internal sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope and heart rate sensor. The phone can be paired with your smartphone using Bluetooth and the internal batteries can keep it running for as long as 5 days. The internal hardware features a 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM and an internal storage of 4GB.

The Galaxy Gear Fit watch has changeable strap options and colour variants such as black, brown, blue, green, red and orange are available and sold separately. The display on the watch is themed and one can change the wallpaper, background colour, and clock designs according to your style and taste.

The main purpose of the Galaxy Gear Fit is for personal fitness. The watch can provide you with real-time information on the progress and results of your workout by using the built-in optical heart rate sensor. Since the watch can connect to your smartphone using the Bluetooth technology, you can receive notification alerts such as SMS, incoming calls, emails and from third-party apps too. Using the touch-enabled display of the watch, you can also reject calls, quickly reply to messages and control alarms with your finger.
