'Saraswatichandra': On the road in London town

Saraswatichandra is extremely popular in London
Mumbai: For Sphere Origins, the production house behind the Gautam Rode-Jennifer Winget show Saraswatichandra, the last few weeks have been busy ones indeed. With a pivotal track in the show being set in London, Sphere’s chairman and managing director, Sunjoy Waddhwa, has had to ensure that every last detail was looked into.
“The show airs six days a week, so it took us a lot of planning and scheduling in terms of scripts, prior bookings of locations, transport, etc,” Sunjoy says. “Thankfully with such a great team, we managed to successfully complete the shoot without any glitches.”
The reason for setting the track in London, Sunjoy says, was Saraswatichandra’s popularity in the Brit capital. That, and the city’s many picturesque locations made it a perfect choice. “We shot for five days in London at the Big Ben, Leicester Square, Tower Bridge, Piccadilly Circus and opposite the London Eye too,” says Sunjoy adding, “It is also a break from the routine. Exotic locations raise the curiosity level in audiences.”
