Chennai: Monal Gajjar, now forays into K’town with Kreshna’s Vanavarayan Vallavarayan which is all set for release. The film is directed by Rajmohan, and is touted to be a family entertainer with all the commercial ingredients in it. Monal decided to opt for this film immediately, as she loved the script.
“I was cautious as I wanted my debut film in Tamil to have a good story line. Luckily, Vanavarayan Vallavarayan came along and it has an an interesting plot. I play a role of a charming girl, who is emotionally attached to her dad. She will go to any extent for her dad as her whole world revolves around him.”
She adds, “The story revolves around just three of us — Kreshna, Ma Ka Pa and me. It is endearing to see the love that Kreshna and Ma Ka Pa share as brothers — but the twist is that they cannot be in the same room for 10 minutes. I play the love interest of Kreshna. The story is about who Kreshna actually prefers — his brother or me.”
The cinematography of the film is by M. R Palanikumar. The music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the audio launch of the film took place recently. Monal is also busy shooting for her next film with Vikram Prabhu titled Sigaram Thodu, which will be completed soon. ST is directed by Gaurav.
