Hyderabad: Ceasefire, an Iranian flick, is being remade in Bollywood and will star Anil Kapoor. Confirming the news, producer Prem Raj Joshi, who is on his first film project, says, “Yes, We are planning to rope in Anil Kapoor for the film.”
About the title of his film he adds, “Ceasefire is the working title. We are yet to finalise the actual title.” He reveals the story a bit. “The film tells a very emotional tale of the relationship between a husband and wife. The happiness and agony of the closeness as well as the separation that is suffered by the couple forms the crux of the story. We will use a title which will suit the film.”
About the making of the movie he adds, “The film’s shooting will start in September. We plan to wrap it up very quickly. Our estimate suggests a three-month completion schedule for the entire film.”
The movie will be made under the banner of Reewa films and will be directed by Ajoy Verma. The lyrics of the movie are penned by the National Award winning director/lyricist Gulzar while the music is composed by composer Shantanu Moitra. Sharman Joshi and Kajal Aggarwal will play the lead. The other cast and credits are yet to be finalised.
