Hyderabad: When an actor is seen romancing three heroines in a film, you can be rest assured that he has arrived. And that’s true for actor Sundeep Kishan, who is now seen as a bankable star by filmmakers.
Since Sundeep’s last film, Venkatadri Express, became a blockbuster, he has been busy with multiple projects. The actor says that his success has given him the edge to be more careful about choosing the right script in future.
“As an actor I got appreciation, but commercial success is always different. After the success of Venkatadri Express I am more conscious about the script and my character. My next priority is the director and then the producer,” he says.
With two projects already in the pipeline, the actor is about to sign two more films. “Shooting for Ra Ra Krishnayya is complete. It’s a love story and I have played a village boy for the first time,” he says about his next release.
In another film, the actor is working with director Kumar Nagendra. Here he will be seen romancing three female leads, Rashi Khanna, Priya Banerjee and Sushma.
“They are all part of the story and it is an entertaining film. I am working with Brahmanandam Garu for the first time and it’s going to be hilarious,” says Sundeep.
While the actor had earlier done a Hindi and a Tamil film, he doesn’t have any plans of moving out of Tollywood. “My prime focus is on Telugu films now. It is my bread and butter I would like to concentrate my career here.”
“I do want to do a Hindi film, but not a commercial one. I also want to work on a different genre of films in other languages,” he says.
Sundeep, who has only worked with young directors, adds, “I didn’t plan it that way. But it gives us freedom to discuss our thoughts about the film,” he says.
