Salman Khan speeds up work on Kick
Visa issues and other technical glitches had delayed Kick's schedule
It is well known that on a Salman Khan project, it is the Dabangg superstar who calls the shots. The latest, we hear, is that after winding up the schedule of his much-delayed Kick in Poland, Salman has asked producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala to wrap up the remaining shooting as soon as possible.
Visa issues and other technical glitches had delayed the Kick schedule and that had forced Salman to postpone the shoot of Sooraj Barjatya’s next film. But it seems like Salman has found a way to balance his commitments. In consultation with Salman, Sajid has booked four stages of a suburban studio in Mumbai so that Kick can be wrapped up on a priority basis.
“Yes, we have practically booked the entire studio. We’ll put up different sets on each stage as Salman wants to finish the shooting of the film soon. An arrangement like this will help us wind up on time,” a Kick unit member admitted.
The dates for the cast and crew of Sooraj Barjatya’s project have already been booked and delaying the shoot will be expensive, to say the least. “Salman is going all out to balance the schedules. No one knew that Kick would get delayed. But we’re now gearing up to meet the deadline,” an aide of the actor told us.
