Kakinada: Two youth were injured when the campaign vehicle of YSR Congress leader Y.S. Sharmila hit the bike, they were riding. However, she was not in the car when the accident took place.
According to sources, Sharmila campaigned at Karapa village on Sunday evening and addressed the public at Karapa.
After completing the campaign, she got down from the vehicle and took another vehicle to go to Visakhapatnam.
Meanwhile, a gunman along with the driver was coming to Kakinada by the campaign vehicle, and it hit the bike.
The youth were rushed to the government general hospital. After being informed about the accident, the YSRC leaders came to the GGH and admitted one of the injured persons to a private hospital. A case has been registered.
