Chandrababu Naidu refuses to mention Purandeswari name
Piler: Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu did not even say the name of his sister-in-law Purandeswari and preferred to call her the “BJP candidate” from Rajampet LS constituency, during his campaign at Piler on Sunday. The TD chief who landed at Piler as part of his tour of Chittoor district, attacked the YSRC and JSP chief N. Kiran Kumar Reddy. Training his guns on former CM N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, Mr Naidu said the good days of the Nallari family are over. He said that Kishore Kumar Reddy, brother of Kiran, contesting from Piler, is a kingpin of the red sanders smuggling racket, the TD chief pointed out to the people that any vote cast for the JSP would go down the drain and turn meaningless.
Shifting his tirade on the YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Naidu told the people that YS Jagan who resorted to economic offences and looted public money to the tune of One lakh crores would soon land up behind the bars for anywhere close to 25 years.
He cautioned people that the YSR Congress chief wins, he would turn every vote cast by the people into a ticket for his bail and would come back to loot them which would lead the state into an absolute turmoil.
The TD chief listed out poll promises including waiver of DWACRA loans, sops to farming community, youth, NTR health cards and so on, Naidu called upon the people to vote for the TD-BJP
combine to ensure the state which finds itself at crossroads with a number of challenges ahead in rebuilding the state, springs back on to the development path. Meanwhile, sensing that the minority vote bank is slipping away owing to the alliance with the saffron party, the TD chief tried to woo the minority communities with 'assurances' in this minority dominant constituency.
Meanwhile, towards the end of his speech Naidu who appealed to vote for Mr. Iqbal Ahmed, TD's nominee from Piler, he also asked the voters to vote for the 'BJP candidate' and ensure the victory of Mr.Modi, without referring to the name of Mrs. Purandeswari at all.
